About this product
The Pro Capture AIO is the swiss-army card — a single capture channel that accepts SDI, HDMI, DVI-I, VGA, YPbPr component, CVBS composite and S-Video on one full-height PCIe x1 card. The source format is selected in software, so the same hardware adapts to whatever signal the room provides.
This flexibility is the entire point of the card. We supply it most often into facilities with mixed legacy and modern equipment — lecture theatres with both HDMI laptops and VGA visualisers, medical facilities mixing newer SDI cameras with older DVI imaging equipment, broadcast archive operations digitising tapes from multiple analogue formats, and any environment where the integrator simply does not know in advance what will be plugged in.
The FPGA processing handles the format conversion in hardware, so the captured video is normalised regardless of input type. From the software side it always appears as a single video device.

The Pro Capture AIO uses a Full-height PCIe x1 slot. It will also fit in larger PCIe slots (x8, x16) as PCIe is backward compatible, but will run at the card's native lane width.
The Pro Capture AIO is a capture card. Simultaneous playback (loop-through) depends on the specific model — check the Loop-Through spec in the full specification table. ForeFront Imaging can advise if you need simultaneous I/O.
The Pro Capture AIO works with any software that supports DirectShow (Windows), V4L2 (Linux), or AVCaptureSession (macOS), including OBS Studio, vMix, Wirecast, Capture One, XSplit and most broadcast NLE software. Magewell's free Capture Express software is also available.
