The Pro Capture HDMI 4K is the cost-effective entry point to 4K HDMI capture in the Pro Capture range. It captures HDMI 2.0 at up to 4Kp30 (3840x2160 at 30 frames per second) — the right specification when full 4K resolution matters but the source is happy at 30fps.
The 30fps cap rather than 60 makes this card meaningfully cheaper than the HDMI 4K Plus, and for many common applications — corporate AV, lecture capture, medical recording, archive ingest — 30fps is plenty. Cinema content runs at 24fps, broadcast cameras can output at 25 or 30, and most computer outputs are 30 or 60 with little visible difference at typical viewing distances.
Low-profile PCIe x4 form factor fits 1U rack servers, which matters for permanent installation in ingest racks. Same broadcast-grade FPGA processing as the rest of the Pro Capture range, same 24/7 continuous-operation rating.

The Pro Capture HDMI 4K uses a Low-profile PCIe x4 slot. It will also fit in larger PCIe slots (x8, x16) as PCIe is backward compatible, but will run at the card's native lane width.
