The Pro Capture Quad SDI is the densest reliable broadcast capture per slot — four fully independent 3G/HD/SD-SDI engines, each with its own loop-through, on a single full-height PCIe x4 card. For multi-camera SDI production workflows it is the obvious choice.
The four-channel density matters most in two scenarios. First, multi-camera live production where a single workstation needs all camera inputs visible simultaneously for live switching in vMix or Wirecast. Second, broadcast compliance recording at major facilities, where a single 1U server with one Quad SDI card can capture four programme outputs for regulator archive duties.
Each loop-through is active SDI, so the four downstream chains continue uninterrupted while capture runs.
