About this product
The Pro Convert HDMI 4K Plus encodes a 4K60 HDMI source into full-bandwidth NDI at the highest colour fidelity in the Pro Convert range — 4:4:4 chroma rather than the more common 4:2:0. For colour-critical work that distinction matters: red text on a green background, fine graphics, branded titles, and post-production grades all hold up at 4:4:4 in ways they don't at 4:2:0.
As a standalone PoE-powered appliance, it sits at the camera position or in the AV rack and turns up on the NDI network automatically — no host PC, no driver install, no configuration beyond plugging it in. Web UI and Magewell Control Hub both manage it.
Most commonly specified for broadcast galleries running 4K NDI workflows, premium corporate productions where graphic fidelity matters, and post-production facilities feeding 4K material from camera tape or HDMI players into NDI-based edit and review systems.
