About this product
The Magewell Modator Chassis 2U is the physical foundation of Magewell's modular conversion and encoding system. A 2U rack unit that houses up to ten Modator modules in any combination, sharing a dual-redundant power supply, cooling system, and network management infrastructure.
Ten simultaneous channels in 2U of rack space. A single Ethernet connection manages every installed module through Magewell Control Hub. The LED touch screen on the front of the chassis provides at-a-glance status of every module.
The chassis accepts any mix of the 8 available Modator module types — NDI encoders, NDI decoders, AIO modules, and Ultra Encode SDI/HDMI Plus modules can all coexist in a single chassis. Designed and rated for 24/7 continuous broadcast operation.
