Bring any HDMI source into your NDI network — standalone, PoE powered.
Ask us a quick question about this product — signal compatibility, use case fit, or anything technical. We usually reply the same day.
The Pro Convert HDMI TX is the standard NDI encoder for HDMI sources up to 1080p60. Plug an HDMI cable in one side, an Ethernet cable in the other, and the source appears on the NDI network — any NDI-capable system on the same network sees it automatically.
For broadcast and live-production workflows migrating from SDI to IP, the HDMI TX is the bridge for HDMI-only sources like consumer cameras, computer outputs, and presenter laptops. The whole device runs from PoE (Power over Ethernet), so a single cable carries both power and the encoded stream from the camera position to the production gallery.
Common deployments include houses of worship with multiple HDMI camera positions feeding an NDI-based vMix or TriCaster gallery, school esports facilities, and corporate AV systems distributing presenter sources around campus networks. Configured via web UI or Magewell Control Hub.
