About this product

The Pro Convert for NDI to SDI is the most common bridge in the other direction — taking IP-based NDI or SRT streams and bringing them back out as standard 3G/HD/SD-SDI for traditional broadcast infrastructure. Production switchers, SDI multiviewers, master control routers and broadcast monitoring chains all stay on SDI; this decoder feeds them from the IP side.

In broadcast IP migrations this is typically the decoder specified in the largest quantities. A facility may have a hundred SDI input ports on a router but only a handful of NDI-native devices — the Pro Convert for NDI to SDI sits at the boundary and converts the NDI feeds into something the existing SDI infrastructure understands.
