The Eco Capture AIO M.2 gives an integrator one capture device that handles either HDMI or 3G-SDI, switchable per channel. The choice is made in software, so an embedded appliance can be reconfigured for the source type without changing hardware.
This flexibility matters most in two scenarios. The first is OEM integration into appliances that will be shipped to different markets — broadcasters prefer SDI, education and corporate prefer HDMI, and the same physical product can serve both. The second is fly-pack production where the camera mix is decided per event — the AIO handles whatever turns up.
Like other Eco Capture M.2 cards, the AIO uses MCC breakout cables to bring the signal connectors out of the chassis. The FPGA processing is identical to a Pro Capture AIO, so the software-level behaviour and colour handling are unchanged from the full PCIe form factor.

The Eco Capture AIO M.2 uses an M.2 slot. Check your motherboard manual for available M.2 slots — Eco Capture M.2 cards use the PCIe lanes on the M.2 connector, not SATA, so the slot must support M.2 PCIe.
Yes. Download the Magewell Eco Capture driver from Magewell's website (free). It supports Windows 10/11 and recent Linux kernels. macOS is not currently supported for Eco Capture M.2 cards.

Yes, multiple Eco Capture M.2 cards can be installed in the same system provided there are available M.2 PCIe slots. Each card is independently addressable.
