The Eco Capture SDI 4K Plus M.2 brings 12G-SDI 4K capture into the M.2 form factor. With true 12G-SDI support at the input it captures 4K60 from single-link cameras — the format the latest professional broadcast cameras output natively.
Backward compatibility with 6G, 3G, HD and SD-SDI is built in, so the card adapts to whatever signal a camera delivers without configuration. This makes it useful in mixed-format facilities where the same chassis may need to capture from a 4K cinema camera one day and an older HD studio camera the next.
Common applications include compact 4K broadcast ingest stations, OB-truck workstations needing top-end SDI in a small chassis, and embedded post-production systems where space rules out a full PCIe card. The same FPGA technology as the Pro Capture range means colour reproduction and frame timing are broadcast-grade, not consumer-grade.
