Standalone HDMI encoder with professional XLR balanced audio I/O.
Ask us a quick question about this product — signal compatibility, use case fit, or anything technical. We usually reply the same day.
The Ultra Encode HDMI Plus is the Ultra Encode HDMI plus professional XLR audio I/O. Balanced XLR line input lets you take a feed directly from the venue's mixing desk into the encoded stream; balanced XLR line output lets the encoder send a return feed to monitor speakers or downstream audio infrastructure.
In venues with professional audio engineering this matters significantly. The unbalanced 3.5mm input on the standard Ultra Encode HDMI is fine for a webcam or simple stereo source, but it cannot interface cleanly with a balanced XLR audio chain — for that you need this Plus model.
Common deployments include churches with professional sound systems (FOH desk feeds the XLR input directly), conference venues with installed audio infrastructure, and broadcast facilities where the audio chain is XLR-based throughout.
