The HDMI 4K Pro in two minutes: HDMI capture up to 4096×2160 at 60 fps over USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (up to 20 Gbps), 4:4:4 input and up to 10-bit capture, HDMI loop-through, a 3.5 mm mic/headphone jack, and support for Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS.
Watch on YouTubeIf you shoot, play or present in 4K at 60 frames per second and want the computer to receive it that way, this is the HDMI model to choose. The USB Capture HDMI 4K Pro is a small external 4K capture device. It takes an HDMI video signal from a camera, console, computer or other source and delivers it to a computer over USB, so that software on the computer can record it, stream it or use it in a video call. It is a one-channel 4Kp60 capture device.
The USB connection is the headline feature. USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 allows up to 20 Gbps. To use that speed, connect it to a computer port that supports it. The Type-C to Type-C cable in the box is rated at up to 20 Gbps, and the Type-C to Type-A cable at up to 10 Gbps. Both are supplied, so you can connect to either kind of port.
Built to stay on. It can work continuously, 24 hours a day, and it detects the input signal format automatically, so you can install it and leave it. An LED shows status.
Made for open sources. It suits cameras, computers and other unprotected HDMI outputs. If your source uses HDCP copy protection, or your workflow depends on HDR, talk to us before ordering.
Small enough to travel. At 98.1 × 56.8 × 18 mm it goes in a camera bag, and it is an external device, so you can use it with a laptop instead of opening a PC to fit a card.
This is the HDMI model for 4K at 60 frames per second. For HDMI at up to 4K and 30 frames per second, see the USB Capture HDMI 4K Plus. If your source is SDI, see the USB Capture SDI 4K Pro. All models are on the USB Capture range page, and Compare Models shows them side by side.
