All USB Capture models come with Magewell's FPGA-based video processing technology, which ensures zero-CPU-usage. This advanced technology enables high-quality up/down conversion and image adjustments, while also optimizing CPU availability for third-party software applications.

Low-Latency, High Frame Rate Gaming Capture

The Magewell USB Capture Dongle are extremely versatile devices which connects the broadcasting and surveillance equipment to computer for streaming and recording. Compatible with various software with DirectShow Architecture, the dongle runs stably on Windows, Linux, Mac and Chrome operating systems

Convenient and simple to use plug-and-play design means that the dongle does its job without driver installation. Video and audio inputs are automatically recognized by this device and converted to specified output size and frame rate

USB 3.0 FOR DATA TRANSMISSION & POWERFUL SUPPLY
The devices use USB 3.0 interface and no external power is needed. They also support USB 2.0 port, but the real-time frame rate will be reduced due to limited bandwidth. Users can also use a USB 3.0-to-Type C cable to connect it via USB Type C interface on the computer.

DESIGNED FOR LONG HOURS OF STABLE WORK
Metal housing to help heat dissipation of the chip. Use USB 3.0 Type A connector, which doesn’t easily get loose after long time of use. A USB Capture passes 7×24 working test in temperature between 0-50 ℃.

SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY
Support operating system native video capture APIs, including DirectShow, DirectKS, V4L2, ALSA and QuickTime. Support DirectSound based audio acquisition interface, extended interface based on IKsPropertySet. Compatible with almost all software based on DirectShow architecture.

AUTOMATIC INPUT SIGNAL DETECTION
Users don’t need to select the input signal format to have it correctly recognized. When the signal is connected, the card will automatically detect the input signal and link the audio input with the video input. SUPPORT 3D HDMI Support 3 types of 3D HDMI signals: frame packed, top-and-bottom, and side-by-side.

DRIVER FREE - PLUG AND PLAY
Support UVC; manual installation of driver is not needed.
